A reminder to parents please check your emails periodically as teachers will be in constant contact with you. Also if you recently changed your email address please reach out to your child’s teacher as we are in the process of rolling out new digital platforms over the next week to ensure that your child’s educational development is on going. Our teachers are excited to try something new with our students and hope to see them participating, so please stay tuned to your emails as we move away from paper and pencil, towards more integration of technology. Dear Cape May City Elementary School Families,
Today your students will be returning to you with a packet of materials that includes assignments, activities, and lesson plans for the next two weeks during this time of health closure. Teachers will be available via email during virtual office hours that are also included in the packet and will be posted on our website. It is imperative that all the materials and activities are completed as this will ensure that our closure will count towards the required 180 days. If your student is absent today, please come to the Main Office to pick up your child’s materials. The Main Office will be open until 4:00 p.m. which is our close of business. Please be aware that the building will not be open to the public after the close of business today until after we receive guidance to open from the County Department of Health which at this time is Monday, March 30th. Should you have any questions, please contact the Main Office at 609-884-8485. Thank you and wishing all of you the best of health during these uncertain times.
In consultation with the County Health Department, Cape May City Elementary School will be closed effective Tuesday, March 17th. School will be open Monday, March 16th. The duration of this closure is yet to be determined.

The Connections Steam Festival is taking place tomorrow Wednesday, February 26th from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Please stop by for this fun and free family night full of interactive activities, student projects, community partners, and more!
The talent show (for 4th-6th graders) is rescheduled for Friday, March 13th beginning at 1:30 p.m.
