Today is Principal Appreciation Day! Much of our success during this unique time would be all for naught without the support & leadership of our principal, Mr. Palombo who has gone above & beyond the responsibilities relinquished to a principal.  He not only goes to the building each and every day, he hands out meals to all the families that need them, he's beyond supportive of the teachers (calling student's parents when teachers are not able to reach them), he is beyond flexible, and he interacts with students via his VIMEO announcements, ZOOM & Google classroom sessions.  We are beyond grateful and want to give credit where credit is long overdue.  THANK YOU, Mr. Palombo!

A reminder to parents please check your emails periodically as teachers will be in constant contact with you. Also if you recently changed your email address please reach out to your child’s teacher as we are in the process of rolling out new digital platforms over the next week to ensure that your child’s educational development is on going. Dear Cape May City Elementary School Families, Today your students will be returning to you with a packet of materials that includes assignments, activities, and lesson plans for the next two weeks during this time of health closure. Teachers will be available via email during virtual office hours that are also included in the packet and will be posted on our website. It is imperative that all the materials and activities are completed as this will ensure that our closure will count towards the required 180 days. If your student is absent today, please come to the Main Office to pick up your child’s materials. The Main Office will be open until 4:00 p.m. which is our close of business. Please be aware that the building will not be open to the public after the close of business today until after we receive guidance to open from the County Department of Health which at this time is Monday, March 30th. Should you have any questions, please contact the Main Office at 609-884-8485. Thank you and wishing all of you the best of health during these uncertain times.

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s), To coincide with our new dismissal procedures, we are also re-evaluating our arrival procedures. Starting on Monday, October 21, 2019, students will enter the school through the gates by the playground instead of the Main Entrance. This change will include all students that are walkers, bike riders, or dropped off by a parent or guardian. Any students arriving after 8:30 am (tardy) will need to enter through the Main Entrance so that they can be checked in. This change will not affect students that ride the bus. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation.
